DAVID H. and MARY LAIRD

David H. LAIRD was born in Guernsey County, Ohio on May 15, 1836, the son of James and Sarah (ENGLAND) LAIRD. David served during the Civil War with Company E of the 149th Indiana Volunteer Infantry. He died on June 16, 1921, at Shannon City.

Mary Eleanor (JORDAN) LAIRD, was born in Owen County, Indiana, on August 8, 1834, the daughter of Reuben and Nancy (BEAMAN) JORDAN, and died on April 12, 1916, Shannon City, Union County, Iowa. David and Mary were the parents of three sons and three daughters, and were interred at Oakland Cemetery at Shannon City.
