MARGARET LOU DAVIS

Margaret was born October 13, 1899, Fergus County, Montana, and christened Maggie Lou Davis. She adopted the more formal name "Margaret."

Margaret married in 1919 to Ralph E. DAVIS (no relation) and prior to their divorce had nine children:

Earl Allen (1920-1992) who was a Veteran World War II, Dale Edward (1921-1997) who was a Veteran U.S. Army World War II, Elbert Keith (1924-2006), James Lowell (1927-1985) who was a Veteran of World War II, Betty Jean (DAVIS) FOXWORTHY (1930-2000), Esther Naomi (DAVIS) RAPP (1933-2002), CeLesta Emma (DAVIS) MILLER (1931-2007)

Margaret died in Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa, on May 15, 1985, and is interred beside her son James Lowell DAVIS at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Des Moines Iowa.
