1. Edmund Niess: Source was Tim Niess TNiess@ifbf.org
  E. Niess was killed at Pago Pago, in the South Pacific, in a Japanese destroyer attack on his US Navy PT boat - in February 1944. Edmund was born on August 2, 1918 and died Feb. 20, 1944.

2. Maurice Kleckner enlisted in 1939 and was discharged in 1945. He sailed
on the U.S.S. Helena, and was a Pearl Harbor survivor. See his obituary.

3. Roman V. Pelleymounter enlisted on 19 JUL 1945 at Jefferson Barracks, Missouri.

4. Francis Joseph Niess was born Nov. 6, 1920 and died June 15, 1989 at Itasca, Minnesota. Served in Navy from Apr. 20, 1943-1953, discharged with rank of Chief of Staff.

5. Matthew Joseph Niess was born April 6, 1927. He served in the US Army from 1945-1947, stationed in Berlin as an MP. He was discharged as a Corporal.

6. According to Randy Zipse, Robert Falteisek was KIA in New Guinea and was buried at the military cemetery in the Philippines. See an obituary for Robert on the Mitchell Obits Board.
