We aren't professional researchers, but we'd like to help if we can. Please limit your request to one surname at a time.

What we can search

• marriage records beginning 1845
• Cemeteries of Marion County 1976 with an index and corrections
• Deaths in Marion County 1976-1990 by Iona White
• An obituary file (ca 1893-present)
• Microfilms of the county census 1847 - 1930; head of household indexes for most of these censuses; every person index for 1856 census
• All probate records from 1845 to 1925
• Birth records beginning 1880
• Death records beginning in 1880
• Various Marion County and Pella Histories
• Miscellaneous tax records
• Land records beginning 1845

What it will cost

• $7 per hour plus copies
• Include your email address to receive an estimate before the work is done

• Print and fill out the research form (found at their site)
• Add your family group sheet(s). We use them to organize our search and save our time and your money.
• Enclose a self-addressed stamped #10 envelope.
• Mail the form, the family group sheets, and the SASE to
