• Updated Cemeteries Series: It's been 40 years since our Cemeteries of Marion County, Iowa, 1976, was published in hardcover. This list shows those updated since then; in each case the entire cemetery was canvassed and rechecked a number of times. All burials are listed by row, so you can find the marker for which you are looking. All booklets have an every-name index except Brooks Addition to Graceland and Red Rock, which have a surname index. All have maps and photographs, except Brooks. These updates include those stones of living people who have a marker with their name. Also included are names of children of the parents, often inscribed nowadays on the backs of the gravestones, verses, which were especially common in the 19th Century, plus other noteworthy features. All booklets plus postage if mailed. The originals are on the shelf as reference. "Print on demand" if ordered.
