Message reads: "Dear Abbie: Am anxiously waiting for a letter from you. Got word this a.m. Mrs. Tichers baby died yesterday. Felt so sorry for her. Am very busy. Neal goes with Papa & Mama to Storm Lake next week. This is club day. I have a new harness for my horse, real small. Hope you are well. Are you going to the lakes next month? How is my Jersey? Write soon, ?? lovingly, Mae".
