Sarah,
Thanks for your response. I have physically gone to three surrounding states and no marriage license anywhere for Lorraine (we called her Gramma Lou) and Oren Lyons. I highly doubt they married anyway as she was a "lady of the evening" and entertained the railroad men. Oren was a very moral guy and doubt he would let his wife do that. Anyway, you are right about Sioux City. I have Uncle Mac's death certificate (Clyde McKinley) and it says he was born in Sioux City. Thanks for the nudge. I have been looking for a death notice or obit on Althea and have been unable to find either.
