A lot of those records are incorrect. Oren Lyons married Althea Anscomb. She died giving birth to Clyde McKinley Lyons april 15, 1899. I didn't know till yesterday that it was in Iowa City. I had thought she died at home. Her sister Lorraine Jane moved in with Oren to take care of the baby. My dad had been abandoned in an orphanage at age 2 and Oren found him and raised him. My father's name was Albert Lyons. Oren was my great grandfather's brother. Clyde McKinley, known to me as Uncle Mac, lived with us off and on throughout my childhood until he died in Marysville, Washington in 1966. Oren died in 1943, Lorraine died in 1960 in a nursing home in hartley. I have noticed misspelled names, confusion on identies, etc on census records etc., but this is my personal family history associated with my parents and what I grew up with. I knew Lorraine personally as she lived with us until 1957. Will print out what you sent. I appreciate all your effort on looking into this for me. If I can correct any of your records, please let me know, would be happy to do so.
