I am a descendent of Katherine Kirian/Kerian, a sister to Kasper and Jacob who died at Vicksburg. Katherine married Frank Novotny in Spillville on 8 Nov. 1875. She had a daughter, Margaret, and together they had Mary, Anna, Johanna, Rudolph, Louis, and Barbara. Louis Novotny was my grandfather. I am interested in sharing family history on the following surnames: Kerian, Novotny, Kubousek, Luzum.
