Hi Robert,

Glad to see your still around. I was about to contact you and then everyone disappeared. You had a website at Mytree.com and I posted a picture of the Dyrland brothers. For the record - John, Jacob, Enock, Mary, Hans and Nikolai moved to North Dakota from Karmoy Island, Norway with one sister Elinor staying in Norway. John moved to Montana - Mary married Nils Brainerd and stayed in North Dakota, Hans died of an accident on July 4th, 1906 in Finley, N.D. The prospect of free land in Saskatchewan, Canada sent Jacob, Enock, and Nikolai there - each having between 10 and 12 children. Jacob is my Grandfather and Nikolai is Doug's Grandfather.

The Brothers parents were Eilert Jacobson Dyrland and Jette Gurine Jonsdtr. Jette's sister is Margrete Olene Jonsdatter and she married Sivert Eriksen Dyrland and that is your line. Doug and I are your 3rd cousins. Hope to hear from you soon. Jim Anderson in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
