After an illness of about one year, William Waxler passed away at his home Saturday morning, Dec. 10, 1910. Mr. Waxler had lived in this section most of his life and was well known as a man of a genial disposition, a good neighbor, a loving husband and a devoted father. Although his sickness was long continued, he bore it with cheerful fortitude. Further comment on the deceased is unnecessary as this community is as well acquainted with the life of the deceased as the writer. The funeral occurred from the Universalist church, the Rev. Mrs. Jones of Waterloo officiating. The church was well filled with friends and neighbors to unite in paying their last respects to the deceased. The body was interred in Bloomfield cemetery. We have no obituary.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born in 1860.
