After an illness of several months Mrs. Florence Wilber passed away yesterday morning at five o’clock at her home south of town. Funeral will be held to-morrow.

The funeral of Mrs. Florence White-Wilber was held from the M. E. church here last Wednesday afternoon, Rev. Scheppie officiating. Mrs. Wilber was born December 5, 1850, in New York, and died at her home south of Burr Oak December 12, at the age of 60 years and 6 days. In 1870 she was married to Sylvester Wilber, and to this union two children were born, Olive and Clara. Olive passed away at four years of age. She leaves besides her husband, one daughter, four brothers, three sisters and a host of friends to mourn the loss of a most devoted wife and mother.

Transcriber’s Note: Her gravestone in the Burr Oak Cemetery shows she was born Dec. 6, 1860.
