Sudden Death.
Oelwein Record:—Archie Van Kirk, renter on the farm of S. H. Hough, dropped dead yesterday morning-~(the 16th) at about 5 o’clock.
It was Mr. Van Kirk’s wont to arise about five o'clock. Proceeding to the kitchen he would build a fire then do the chores about the house. He arose as usual Thursday morning and started a fire in the kitchen stove.
After waiting, until she supposed the atmosphere in the room had become warm, Mrs. Van Kirk arose and went into the kitchen. Her horror can be imagined when she discovered her hus¬band seated in a corner of the room dead.
His death was the result of heart trouble. It is supposed he was taken with a pain in the heart and in his discomforture sat down in a corner with the hope that the pain would pass away. He died where he seated himself.
