—John Cooper, an old Frankville boy, died at Rochester, Minn., last Thursday from consumption, and was buried, Saturday last, at Austin. His brother George, his mother and one sister were with him at the time of his death. Only a few months ago his wife died of the same disease to which he succumbed. John had many friends here who will learn of his death with regret.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born in 1856 and died Dec. 9, 1897. He is buried in Calvary Cemetery in Austin, MN.
