The sad intelligence reached here last Sunday morning of the death of Rev. Father P. P. Kloss, the former pastor of this parish. His niece, Miss Louise Dusek, who has been visiting friends here during the past two weeks, received word last Friday morning of the critical change in his condition. She departed immediately for Cleveland, O., but did not reach there before he passed away. Word came yesterday that Father Kloss’ last request was to be buried in the St. Wenceslaus cemetery at Spillville. His remains will be brought here next Wednesday evening, and placed in the grotto over night. The funeral will take place Thursday morning at the St. Wenceslaus church.

Rev. Lakomy, Thomas Jira, Mrs. Landa, Thos. M. Norak, and Mr. and Mrs Jos. F. Pecinovsky attended the funeral of Rev. P. P. Kloss at Spillville Thursday.

Transcriber’s Note: St. Wenceslaus Cemetery shows he is buried there. He was born June 19, 1863 and died September 19, 1908.
