Death of H. H. Rygg.
Haagen H. Rygg, who some twenty years ago had a tailor shop in Cresco, died in Minneapolis Nov. 4th, where he had gone from his home in Williston, N. D., for treatment. The body was taken to Decorah last Saturday for burial. Mrs. Rygg died 13 years ago. Six sons survive: John, of Bottineau, N. D., Andrew, of Willow City, N. D., and Henry, Anton, Louis and Maurice, all of Williston, N. D. The remains were laid at rest in Decorah Sunday, his six sons acting as pallbearers.
Deceased was born in Frosten, Norway, March 22, 1840, and located in Decorah forty years ago.Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he is buried in Lutheran Decorah Cemetery; however, it shows he was born in 1839.
