DIED—Mr. J. K. Kostohryz Sr., one of our old settlers, passed away Monday at about 11 o'clock a. m. His funeral will take place to-day, Wednes¬day, Sept. 30th, at 1 o’clock p. m. His body will be laid to rest in the Bohemian National Cemetery east of town.

Transcriber’s Note: Bohemian National Cemetery shows this was Jan who was born in 1829.
