Funeral services for Miss Louise Malek, 31, who died Wednesday, Dec. 4, were held Saturday morning at 9:30 at St. Wenceslaus church with the Rev. J. P. Chihak reading the requiem high mass and officiating at the graveside.

The deceased, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Malek, was born on Aug. 7, 1915, in Howard county. Surviving are her father, one sister, Mrs. Evelyn Scholl, Rockwell, Ia., and two brothers, Rudolph at home and Clarence of near Spillville. Her mother and a sister Helen, have preceded her in death, the former in 1944 and Helen in 1940. Mr. and Mrs. Scholl and daughters of Rockwell and many others from the neighboring towns attended the funeral services.
