Charles Kostka

Funeral services for Charles Kostka, 66, who died at his home here Thursday evening, June 22, were held Monday morning at St. Wenceslaus Catholic church with the Rev. Alphonse Biskup, pastor, conducting the service. Mr. Kostka operated a farm southwest of Spillville until 1938 when he and Mrs. Kostka came to Spillville to make their home.

Surviving are his widow, the former Elenore Shileny, three daughters, Mrs. Clara Malek, Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Viola Zoulek, Spillville; Mrs. Lulu Praska, Hattinburg, Wis., and one son, Louis Kostka of Cedar Rapids. He also leaves one sister, Mrs. Lena Kubik; one half-sister, Mrs. Anna Bader of Protivin and, two half brothers John and Frank Skoda, both of Protivin.
