Death came early Sunday morning, Feb. 14, to Jos. J. Soukup, 70, at his home in Spillville, after an illness of several months duration. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at the St. Wenceslaus church at 10 o’clock, with interment in the adjoining cemetery. He is survived by his widow, two daughters, Mrs. Pauline Bily, Mrs. Clara Lukash and one son, Joseph J., all of this vicinity. A daughter Regina, preceded him in death two years ago. He leaves a sister and two brothers: Mrs. Celia Berry of Chicago, Martin of Decorah and John of Spillville.
