Funeral services for Julius Barta, 22, who died early Friday morning, March 1, were held here Monday morning, at 9:30 o’clock at St. Wenceslaus Catholic church with the Rev. V. J. Hlubek, celebrating the requiem mass and officiating at the graveside service. The deceased, who has been an invalid almost his entire life, was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Barta, living southwest of Spillville and it was there that he passed to his eternal reward. The bereaved parents, bothers{sp} and sisters in their hour of sorrow will find a source of consolation in knowing that his spirit went home to God to dwell forever in the mansion prepared for him. He is survived by his parents, two sisters and five brothers. The funeral was largely attended by a host of relatives and friends who sympathize deeply with the bereaved ones.
