Funeral services for Nels Gunwall, who died Tuesday at his home in Lincoln township were held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Lincoln Lutheran church. The pastor, Rev. M. B. Quill officiated and interment was made in the cemetery adjoining the church. Mr. Gunwall, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gunwall Olson, was born in Lincoln township 84 years ago, on the farm where he has lived all his life. On Nov. 14, 1889, he was united in marriage to Miss Laura Samuelson of Calmar, who survives him. Besides his wife he is survived by three daughters, Emma, Mrs. I. R. Myrland, of Albert Lea; Ida, Mrs. Clarence Hamre, of Lincoln township and Gina, Mrs. H. E. Jones, of Northfield, Minn., and two brothers, Geo. of Lincoln township and John of Taylor, N.D. Much sympathy is extended to the family and the host of friends who mourn his departure.
