Karen thank you for your response. Edgar died on August 15, 1893. His wife's obituary said he died of comsumption in Nebraska. However, a through search by the Nebraska Historical Society said there is no record of him. When I saw the listing I thought perhaps he died in Nebraska, Iowa. Thank you again for your help. Joy
