Hello Joy,
I don't have a town of Nebraska listed as a place no longer existing in Webster County. It would help me help you if I knew his death date. In 1856 Kossuth and Webster shared Humboldt county as well as Webster also having Hamilton county so its possible the search area needs to be bigger than the current county lines.

Well I have just found the following mention of Nebraska Iowa: NEBRASKA. Listed as a post office from September 29, 1851, to November 29 of the same year in Yell County, which was the same as the present Webster County, without its north tier of townships, but its location not found.

I believe Yell County covered not only the current Webster but also the current Hamilton. Why don't you let me know the death date and maybe we can figure something out.
