Sorry for the late reply.

Joshua and Eliza (Tressler) Brooks, maiden name spelled different ways.

Had 13 children, first 8 born in PA. rest born in VA. now W. VA.

Joshua was the son of Aaron & Elizabeth (Seltzer)
Brooks, born in Springhill, Fayette Co., PA. July 15, 1798. Died in Iowa Sept 21, 1881.

He married Eliza Tressler. their 8th child was George Washington Brooks bn Nov 18, 1834 in Pa.
D. March 20, 1894 in Van Buren Co. Iowa he married Amanda M. Prall,They had one son Charlie bn in 1859, Iowa died 1938 married an Lucy Bell Marks. two daughters bn to G.& A but must have died as infants, she also died,

and George married Sarah Harman Nov 18, 1868. Children -Ida Alice bn Aug 2, 1869-1901, Ella Lee 1870-1946,
George W. Brooks bn Sept 6, 1874 and twin sister who did not live. this was in Ferguson Co. Iowa. And a John bn in 1879.

I do not have an Luman Brooks.
