George Washington Brooks brother of Luman A. Brooks

Looking for George Washington Brooks, brother of Luman A. Brooks, parents George W. Brooks and Eliza J. Stanton. My husband recently had an Ancestry DNA test done and it appears he is connected with this family. I can find no evidence of George Washington Brooks in Iowa after the 1870 Census. We are hoping he is the same George Washington Brooks, my husbands gr grandfather, who married Sarah Charlotte (Lottie) Brooks in Tehama County, CA in 1876. All we know is that he was born 3 Mar 1849 in Iowa to parents from NY. He died in 1887 leaving 3 living children and his wife in Paskenta, Tehama, CA.
