I have an Joshua and Eliza Brooks in Van Buren County in 1860 at the ages of 61 & 56. the children with them at that time were Eliza, James, Rebecca, and Minerva. ages 16,14,11, An older son of Joshua & Eliza was George W. Brooks, his wife was Amanda M. born in Ohio, he was 24 and she was 18 a baby Charles L. 5 mos. and an Sarah Bradford living with them, age 24, could this be the wifes' sister?? Or could this be the married sister of George as he did have a sister (Sarah) Anybody know of this family?? I have found tomb stones for Joshua, Eliza, George,
Amanda,and others..Anyone know more of this family?
