Oh Steven, thank you so much! Jabez & Dorcas J. (Hook) Cretcher are my Great Great Grandparents! I am in pursuit of Dorcas' parents, but I doubt if they would've came to Iowa. Dorcas most likely followed Jabez's side of the family. Her parents may have migrated to Logan County, Ohio; for that is where Dorcas & Jabez were married. Otherwise her parents would've likely died in Virginia, which is where Dorcas was born. If anyone could get me the names of her parents, I would be successfully Satified (her entire ancestry would be better yet!

I just have a feeling that one of her descendants, or a descendants of her siblings, would have a family bible with their pedigree written in it, but yet to have it made public!
