Hannah Wilson Scott was the first wife of Stephen Scott & the mother of Julia A Scott, John Scott & 2 other males (thus half sister/brothers of Cynthia).

Naomi Scott was the second wife of Stephen Scott & married after Hannah's death between 1823 & 1830 and mother of Cynthia A Scott.

John Scott (born about 1802) was the probable brother of Stephen Scott. 1840 census shows them living next door to each other & John claimed to be from Virginia. (The Scotts moved from Mass to (West) Virginia about 1800).

Elizabeth (Cook) Scott (wife of Stephen Scott Sr) could very well be the mother of Stephen Scott & grandmother of Cynthia (her birth year of 1762/1863 is correct)
