Dear Larry,

I am interested in the information you have about the Shuster's. I am a Shuster and my father was born in Vernon, Iowa, Van Buren Co. in 1897. I had the idea the Shuster's came to the New Land of the America's in 1750 and settled in Stillwater New Jersey. I have been to the grave site of Johan Heinrich Schuster b. 1720, his grave is in Stillwater. I thought I had a trail from Stillwater to Westmoreland Co., to Morgan Co., to Montrose, Iowa, then on to Van Buren Co.. You mention that they were in the America's in the 1720's. Where were you able to find this information? Have you been able to confirm it? There is a Booklet in the Morgan Co. Library that states the Klingensmiths, the Shusters, and ? were among the early Germans to settles in Morgan County. I now live in Morgan Co. Oh. also. I would enjoy corresponding with you, if you are willing to do so. Thanks, Leslie
