Hi Linda, Sorry it has taken me so long to get back with you from October 2005. It seems genealogy came to halt when I had more pressing things in my life that were taking place. Trying to get back to it. Takes a lot of time.

If you have an e-mail address, please send it to me instead of me having to go through the query. I have tried the address in blue when you e-mail me starting out as ld and 1d but both have come back to me. If this is suppose to be the e-mail, what am I doing wrong. Anyway, Manly being your grandfather, and John being my grandfather, we might have some of the same information. Several years ago, Celia Pratt Daniel put together a family book. These books were distributed at the annual Pratt family reunion held in Bonapart Iowa in July. Each family paid her the cost of having it produced. Was there anyone from your family line who got one of these books? I looked in the book under Manly and found your name. If there is anyone in your family line who has a copy of this book, you could make copies of it and it would answer many questions along with the names of Robert's children. I will send you the information on Robert's children anyway in case. It would be much easier if I could send it to you directly through e-mail instead of through the query.

There has always been a question what the "B" in Robert "B" stood for. Was the "B" in his name for Benton? Do you have information as to whether it is Benton for sure?

We have quite a bit of information on the Brownfields and Johnstons from that book I was telling you about, but we do not have much information on Stephen Bilby Johnston's family. Adaline's father. We do not know his parents names or bothers or sisters. We do know he was born January 28, 1814 in Washington Co. Pa., but we can not go back any further than that. We can go forward and have the information from the time he was married to Adaline Johnston. We do not have a picture of Mary Ann's sister, Ruth. Would like to have this. Do you have a picture of Mary Ann? Like I said, we do have a picture of Mary Ann's mother. Also, would like the pictures of Richard Porter's children and grandchildren and the headstones. My parents are buried in Dibble cemetery and I have been there and seen the headstones, but never had a camera with me so they would be nice to have.

What information on Oliver Alva do you have? We have his children's names and one son, Samuel Pratt we have some information on.

It has been interesting to me as to why Mary Ann's parents put her name on their headstone in her maiden name. I know they have all the children listed, but it seems a bit unusual for it to be in her maiden name.

Better close, please let me know how you want me to send the information on Robert's children.
