Hi, my name if Janice Pratt Redden and I was on the query to someone else in my search for information on my great, great grandfather James Pratt. His wife, my great, great grandmother was a Price and her father and mother lived in Van Buren Co. south of Stockport in Utica. Mary Ann Price Pratt's parents were Robert Brownfield and Sarah Elizabeth Price Brownfield. My great, great grandmother died in Indiana, we think she is buried there, but not for sure. In fact they resided in Decatur Co. Indiana which is just south of Rush Co. where this Greg Murphy was writing about. Our problem is, we have never been able to go back on James Pratt where he came from and Mary Ann's mother had a brother named Emphraim Price we know lived in Union Co. Indiana for awhile where the Brownfield's and James Pratt met, but do not know where he went from there.
Would you have information on Emphraim Price and would your Price be related to the Brownfields and Pratts in Van Buren Co.? My e-mail is jlouiseknit@springnet1.com Would appreciate information that might help in this quest. Thanks in advance.
