John Allen McIntire born on JAN 9 1850 in Winthrop, NY to Danford McIntire (1830–1861) and Jane E. Finch
(1829–1903). He had 4 brothers, James Franklin (1852-1921) Charles Clinton (1855-1933), Henry Otis (1857-1931) and Ruluf C. (1858-1860). John married at an early age (woman unknown) and had one daughter, Stella who married Charles Sprague. After John's first wife died, he married Minnie Seeley (1866-1899). They had 5 children, 2 died at infancy (Clarke & Jennie). His other children are Henry Otis (1890-1970), Harry H. (1891-1919) & Florence (1897-1919).
