I am sorry this isn't specific, but I am running out of ideas. I am looking for information on my great grandaunt. I have only the information I found about her in her fathers obituary, and know nothing else. John McIntire (1850-1936) was born in New York and came to Iowa with his brother James McIntire. I think John might have married someone in Iowa and had a child (my great grandaunt), Stella or Estella McIntire. Where would I find birth certificates for the 1860's in Iowa?
