William Conner

CONNER, MURPHY, KISSANE, WINTERBANK, JURGENS

I am looking for descendants of William M. Connor and his wife who was a Murphy. They lived in Mallard,Iowa in 1914 and took in her 3 nephews who were orphaned. Their names were Francis "Frank", Michael "Mike" and Thomas Winterbank. They were the children of Thomas Winterbank and Mary Katherine Murphy. The boys went by Conner as they were growing up and the only one who took back the Winterbank name at adulthood was my grandfather, Mike. ( they may have later moved to West Bend) Their 2 sisters were Helen and Katherine and they were adopted by another sister of their mother and her husband, Daniel Kissane.
