Thank you so much for the information that you sent me. It has been hard to find correct information because everyone kept changing their surnames. The 3 boys went by Winterbank and Conner or O'Connor and the girls went by Winterbank and Kissane. I have found the uncle and aunt recorded in different places as O'Connor,O'Conner, Conner and Connor. Mary Katherine Murphy Winterbank died in 1914 after the birth of the youngest daughter. The father, Thomas Winterbank ,is not found after 1914. He tried to care for the children by himself and with the aid of his brother and SIL, Francis "Frank" and Bess Winterbank of Chicago but they already had 4 daughters. I cannot find Thomas after 1914, so he must have died before the 1920 census. I'm not sure when the older Frank died but I think that he always stayed in the Chicago area. Thomas Winterbank was born in Missouri ca 1878, but that is all I know. I have not found his parents, although there are some Winderbanks in the St. Louis census in 1880.
