Hello!

Perchance you have not given the Murrell Bible to anyone- I would love it ! I am so far, unable to establish John Murrell's exact parentage, but here is my connection to the Murrell family, so far.

Beginning with my great-great-
great-great-great grandfather:

1. John Murrell born abt 1775-85 (possibly married to Elizabeth) VA?

2. Wiley Anderson Murrell born abt. 1806 Botetourte, Va., married Mary Magdalene Hontz, d/o Henry Johns Hontz

3. Elizabeth Murrell born abt. 1835 in Boteourte,married John R. Roberts of
Indiana and settled in Jasper, Iowa

4. Elizabeth's daughter was Mary Jane Roberts, (my great-great grandmother)born
1863 in Illinois, married Samuel Harvey Blount, born England and settled in Prairie City, Iowa

5. Florence Blount born 1900 Des Moines, Ia

(my grandmother)
