Juhn MURRELL

I have a transcription of a MURRELL family bible (owned at one time by Wiley Anderson and Mary M. HUNTS MURRELL) that states "John MURRELL died March 23, 1880." The family lived in Prairie City/ Jasper Co., IA, but I cannot find any info of this John MURRELL living there or buried there. This may have been Wiley's father or brother, or his son John Henry MURRELL (who may have marr. Lydia RABURN). Family members were b. Botetourt Co., VA; lived Roseville, Warren, IL c. 1853-1868; Jasper Co., IA 1868-death. Any info to help identify 'John MURRELL' would be greatly appreciated.
