Thanks so much for your reply.

My grandfather Harley Morton Lockwood was born in Nevada Iowa and his Mother was Nettie Quackenbush. The problem I keep running into is that she seems have put her name down as Annette, Nettie, or Helen. So I get so confused and in turn not sure about a connection. And Also With her mother Ellen P Lob(b)dell, sometimes I find Ella.

Nettie and Frank Lockwood Came out to Bellingham Washington then Portland Oregon. She divorced Frank Lockwood and Re-married and man called Graham Thornton Woodlaw. She died in portland in 1935 and her ashes are at "the Portland Memorial" I have her in the family papers as being born in washington township, Delaware, Iowa about 1863. My dad had said, that Nettie went with her mother Ellen to Texas for a while, (not sure when) didn't do well there so they went back to Iowa. Do you know anything about that?

Nettie and Frank S Lockwood Had 4 children:

? Lockwood Born 1884 died before 1895 in Story City, Iowa

Daisy May Lockwood Born May 21st 1885 died in california in the late 60"s or early 70"s, her married name was Daisy Nordskog(sp?)

Harley Morton Lockwood Born Aug 11 1888 in Nevada, Story, Iowa. He married Edith Alma Smith in dec 1912 in Bellingham Washington. He died in Portland in 1961 of a heart attack.

George Solon Lockwood oct 22 1890 in Nevada, Story, Iowa. He died in Portland in the early 70's.

Do you know anything more about Quackenbush's

I have photos of Nettie with her sisters if you are interested.

As an only child, I am very excited to find someone else with my DNA.

Thanks so, Jody Lockwood Mousley
