According to family records my great grandparents, Eric and Thorina Thorstenson, (changed their name to Thompson), arrived from Norway in Hull Iowa in 1876. They were meeting up with a relative,Edmund Lofswold, who had homesteaded west of Hull. Eric was shoemaker 1876-1881. Children born in Hull, Randall 1876-1877,Randall,1878 and Anna 1880.
