Page 107 of the Granville Centennial book has a picture of the ball team and Hugo Lechtenberg in in the back row far right. The copy of the book I have doesn't show his face well.
I found Geraldine's death...Alton Democrat of May 16, 1930.
Mention in our Granville columns is made of the death of little Geraldine Laura Belle Lechtenberg, but The Democrat has available further information as to this sad event: She was
three years, eight months and five days of age at the time of her death, and was the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Lechtenberg of Granville. She was ill only- ai few days with tonsilitis and complications: Geraldine was
a pleasant and bright girl, a great comfort to her parents, and is greatly missed by her grief-stricken parents and all who knew her. Funeral services were held at St Joseph's church.
Granville on Thursday, May 8, at 9 a. m., Rev. Scheffner officiating, and Interment was made at St. Joseph's cemetery. The pall bearers were all neighbors and playntates of the little
girl, :as follows: Mildred Kokenge. Florence Burlage, Marian Klein, and Helen BuelteL Barbara Full was flower bearer.Wilma J. Vande Berg
