Thanks for taking the time to follow up on my query. The reference to Peter Traufler listed in the Centennial Book came from the IAGENWEB page for Sioux County under “History Book/Granville”. Your response has answered part of my question and that is did Katherine and Peter Traufler have any children. If they did, I’m curious as to who raised them after Peter died. I assume his second wife, Gertrude. Do you have any other information on the children, their spouses, where they lived? Thanks again for your help.
