VERMEER
Harderwijk, the Netherlands -> Sioux Co., Iowa

Known emigrants:

- brothers Jacob and Evert Vermeer and their families to Michigan -> Wisconsin -> Sioux Center, Iowa (1867/68-1884)

- Jan Vermeer to Rock Valley, Iowa (1900)
son of
- Evert Vermeer & Geertje Rikkers and their family to Hull, Iowa (1910)

- possible other emigrants

QUESTIONS.

Church-members of the first reformed church in Hull were an Evert Vermeer married to Gertie TerHorst. Gertie was born Oct 17, 1880 and died Feb 19, 1920, she was buried at West Lawn Cem. in Orange City.
These two people are unknown to me. Who is able to tell more about them? Their parents, vital dates and so on.

Gerrit Vermeer married to Vashti Cram on May 20, 1913. Did they have any children?

Hattie Vermeer married to Henry Mol on Dec 24, 1923. Children?

Jennie Vermeer married to Gerrit van de Berg on Jan 15, 1915. Children?

Maria Vermeer married to John G. den Herder on Jul 29, 1921. Children?

Elizabeth Vermeer married to Herman van Eldik on Sep 17. 1937. Children?

Jacob 'Jake' W. Vermeer (1874-1936) married a certain 'Cynthia' (1880-1956). What is Cynthia's maiden name? When and were are they married? and did they have any children?

Any information on people with the VERMEER surname in Sioux County from 1867 (or earlier) to present is very welcome.
(The VERMEER family of Harderwijk has been traced back to the end of the 14th century!)
