I recently learned of your town of Boyden. I was told that when my Boyden relatives left Vermont; some came to my state of Pa and some went west and ended up in Iowa. My Mom's maiden name is Boyden and she grew up in a small town in Tioga County, Pa. The Boydens have been in Tioga County since about 1833. I'm thinking that the other Boydens left Vermont around that time also. I have nothing to verify that at this time.
I would love to hear from anyone who may have information about the Boydens.
