Dear Rendert: I recognize your query as I helped you once before in Jan. of 2001. I do not recall just how far I got with sending you information at that time. I will try to revisit what I had done for you and carry one with the research to find more.
I will go to the various newspaper microfilms records in both Orange City and Hull to find the obituaries of both Geertje and Gertie Vermeers. I will do the same for the Evert Vermeers. Thus, I can possibly determine an answer for you.

We have a large Vermeer surname file with all sorts of Vermeer information in it. Do you want me to copy that and send it to you?

I could also check the census for the names you have mentioned to get families.

So you have indicated a lot of work so it may be a while before I have the results.
