I can't thank you enough, Wilma. You've found much more than I expected, and have been a tremendous help. Bernard changed the name to Smith (yep, that's me) and moved the family to the Thompson, IA area by way of Holly, Colorado and Graettinger, IA. Seems he had a bit of the wanderlust. Were there any other graves in the Meiernandorf plot? I believe Henry Nandorf's wife and Henry Torwelle's wife were sisters, but I can't find their maiden name, or where they (Torwelles) went. Her name was Henrietta, and they were married here in the States, possibly in Sioux Co. Again, thank you very much for all of your effort.
