I have a Hans Huss married to a Annie Van Dohren(?on that spelling). Hans was born about 1823 and Annie about 1832. They had at least 5 kids (Julius, Emelia, Adile, Harry, Rudolph, and possibly Emma, unless Emma is Emelia). I know Julius is a son(he is my gggranfather)of Hans and Annie because on the 1925 census Julius lists his parents names. Julius and his wife Ida lived in Ida County, Iowa at that time (1925). Also, when Harry Huss died in 1925, it lists a brother named Rudolph as living in Davenport at that time. Hans Huss is listed on the Scott County, Iowa census in both 1860 and 1870 both times as a carpenter.
