Sophia Margaret Eberhard came to Iowa from Germany at the age of 2. In 1844 she arrived in Baltimore
and was taken to Davenport Scott Co Iowa. By the age of 8 she was a servant in the home of John NOEL and later in the 1860 she was in the home of Adam NOEL. She married in 1865 and lived all her life in Davenport, is buried in St Joseph Cemetery where she attended church and raised
her family.
Her 3rd great-granddaughter would like to know
where she lived untill she became old enough to
work. I do not believe the Whittmeyer home was
open at that time. If you have information please email me.
