Researching the Joseph Hall and Andrew Jackson McCoy families who came to Poweshiek Co in the late 1840's-1850's. Andrew Jackson McCoy is said to have built the first frame house in the county, paid for with gold nuggets from the Gold Rush. I have pictures! Will be leaving current research in Montezuma April 2002. Also interested in the William Franklin Vogt family.
