I suggest to contact the Poweshiek Co Historical and Genealogical Society in Montezuma when you visit. They are more likely to be able to help you. My resources are limited to Deep River area and I have no information about your family.
They have a lot of resources and volunteers onsite when open, and open most days during the week. It is located SW of the town square in Montezuma, in the old Carnegie Library.
